Reasons for the title is because of this:

I reached 65 and was ready to prestige. I clicked prestige and I get a pop up 'You have been reset by Treyarch'. To my surprise, it was a complete reset. All my stats were lost and all was locked once again.
With my frustration, I scoward the interent for answers to my mishap. I called Treyarch, they told me to contact Activision. I contacted Activision and they told me to contact infinityward. INFINITYWARD has Absolutelly nothing to do with COD5.

I've writted Emails and harrassed employees of both Treyarch and InfinityWard, and still I was left to "start over".

So, with this frustation that I have endured, I hope that you all evade issues like mine. But should you befallen such complications similar to this, here are some numbers where you can talk to someone.

Wow, that seriously sucks. I hope they get it sorted for you man, that's just not good enough.

That freakin sucks! I'm still working my way up the levels after being away from XBL for a couple of weeks. I hope that doesn't happen to me, but I wish it'd happen to everyone who glitched.

Activision oversees these issues, they said they'll be contacting me via Email about my issue... however, as things are going now, I've surpassed my previous stats and am holding a K/D of 1.76, which is what I most sought after stat in CODs. I'm pretty sure I can reach 2.00+ by the time I get 65 again. PPSH is a sick weapon and helps me rocket my K/D Ratio.

For now, I'm going to leave it be. Should Activision fix this problem, I would request that they tack on my new time played as well as my stats. but I don't think that'll happen.

I thought you only got reset if you were a glitcher? Must be some mistake there
