I have the worst Connection in the world!

title says it all....i cant complete 1 game w/o it saying Connection Interupted....any1 know how I can make my connection stronger.... Thanks...

Go through a wired source, get a faster ISP, turn off all internet connections besides the PS3. Even get a better Ethernet cable with less resistance.

i would get an Ethernet cable...but my PS3 is 2 far away from my computer... : [

You can buy 20-30metre Ethernet cables these days, surely it can't be that far away. Make sure you're not downloading any demos or have any pending, turn off the 'Media Search' function or whatever it's called, and assign a static IP address to your PS3 via Port Forwarding.

well... PS3 is in the basement, walk out the basement door... walk a little,, go up the stairs, then take a right, then another right... and thats where my PC is so....

My router is down the opposite end of the house but I just drilled a hole in the floor, crawled under the house and mingled with the spiders, and poked the cable back up through the floor into my room. Easy as. You could do the same depending on how thick your floor above your basement is, except you'll probably see the wire running up the wall. Unless you just trail a bunch of wires around your carpet and risk people tripping over, lol. If you're still living at home then your parents might have a problem with either option. Didn't matter in my case since I'm not living at home and the landlord gave me permission to do it.

Ask your parents for help. But remember, there is no guarantee getting an ethernet cord is going to fix your problems, theres just a good chance it will. Im in the same boat as you. I have a wireless/wired router upstairs in my comp room. My PS3 is downstairs in my basement. I was able to drill a hole just big enough to fit the ethernet cord through in the floor of my computer room. (Did it next to the wall, there was already a tiny hole from where the cable (TV) ran into the room). I was able to drop an ethernet cord through the hole and across the ceiling/floor into where my Playstation is. I have a basement with 2 huge rooms, one finished and one not. I ran the cord down the wall of the unfinished side and drilled a hole through the wall closest to my ps3. Than ran the cord along the ground and to my ps3.

All in all, because the way my room is setup you cannot even see the ethernet cord, except for along the unfinished side of the basement. But who goes in there? Just do my laundry in there, so its all good.

Is someone browsing the Internet while you are playing?
I remember that I had a Connection Interrupted message every single match while my brother was watching videos on youtube. I finally figured it out. The PC takes up a lot of resources.

Syndrome-X, where my computer is, is right next to where my mom works, and my dad also uses this computer, But I don't think it will get that in the way.

And Pizdasushami, sometimes my brothers or dad are using the Internet, but I don't think that's a problem..Just bad Wireless connection from my PS3, to the computer.
