As I've stated I'm new to WAW and am now wondering how to use satchel charges.

I recently found myself in Seelow and was owning another team until they decided to get in their tanks. I just happened to have Satchel Charges equipped on one of my classes but I couldn't figure out how to use them. I'd equip it and a plunger-looking thing would appear---then I'd press R1, L1--nothing would happen except a twisting motion.

How the hell do they work? I know I'm the one doing something wrong.

Well, I'm about to play WAW on line for the 2nd time since it came out, I played it once, then shelved it, will give it another go right now.

When I asked the question I'd only played the game for a couple of hours and hand't yet got to those missions in campaign (I'm doing it on vet--1st time through)
