I heard that the MGS series was really good, but notorious in the cutscene length. I want to try it but it's not for Xbox? =(

Most of them weren't too bad as far as cutscenes go, however mgs4 was pretty bad. The story was excellent but they could have made more gameplay and less cinemas. It seemed as if you would fight a boss, watch long cinema, fight another boss. Continue that till the end. I would strongly recommend playing them if you ever get they chance. The serious is great. Start from the beginning though.

indeed. The cutscenes are long but overall the storyline was sick

The storyline is probably the best out of any game I've ever played. I bought that triple pack with the first three Metal Gears in it a week before mgs4 came out since like a fool I got rid of MGS1 and never actually owned MGS2. Won't make that mistake again. Finished them in that week so I could start up the new one.
