Hated XP! Had numerous problems with it.. have vista home premium and I can at last enjoy things I couldnt on my old pile of poop that was XP

Really? I have not had to many issues with XP and I use a lot of software on it...

Yeah the main problem I had was that I got it in 2002.. so it was SP1... when the update for SP2 came about... well it basically wouldn't install..

So alot of software eventually didn't work for SP1

Gave up on it got a laptop on Boxing Day last year

I like it, but i just use my comp for aim, hw, itunes, this site and few other things, so for my few needs its great!

i bought a brand spanking new laptop and took vista off and put XP on and absolutely hate the fact that imma have to go to vista...but that'll be for a while tho cause softwares are still compatable w/ XP...windows will just stop selling the software for XP...there was a huge article i read about XP vs Vista

Having said that like head shot I only really use my lap top for basic things, the most advanced I really go with it is adobe photoshop, I rarely burn CDs or anything on it, so it does me fine.

i think its gettin better. only think i hate is how u have to approve of everythin u do. i cant even delete a file without goin through a process. i think my security settings are set to high or somethin. i dont kno how to stop that. plus they came out with a service pack... (i donno wat it changed or made better)... but its there lol
