Its not super complicated. Just read through the registration and if you like it then proceed... if not then TW is not for you. It may seem long but should only take 5-10 min.

don't do it nuffles my m8 joined and he hated it when u sign u have to request boot camp and my m8 says u can't do anything theres lots of stupid rules and u never play clan matches

With 900 members you have to have rules and regs to keep everyone in line. Your friend probably had not made it through training. The first 4 practices, you are trained our strats and then you move onto another squad and most of those squads play a few gb every week. I for one play 2-3...
