We've decided to give our users something back for contributing to our community:

Every time you get past a stage on our forums you are able to claim a prize. What's a stage? Its basically like a prestige level in Call of Duty 4.. in each level you have to advance through 55 other "sub-levels" (just like Call of Duty 4.. what a coincidence!) You advance in sub-levels for every 10 posts you make. Since there are 55 sub-levels and 10 posts for each sub-level it can be said that you win a prize for every 550 posts you make on our forums. Sounds like alot but you were probably going to make those posts anyways, right? Might as well get something in return

Prize Info:
Each time you progress in a stage/"prestige level" you get a better prize.

Example: You get past the initial 550 posts (lets call it prestige 0) and you win a small accessory. Once you get past "prestige 1" you'll get a bit bigger prize than before. Once you reach the higher stages of prestige you'll be winning prizes like keyboards, games, controllers, sounds cards, mice, and video cards (maybe :P)

Rules:

1. We can suspend this system at any time for any reason.
2. We can reject any poster/member from winning a prize on our forum at any time, with or without reason.
3. Spamming our forums with one-three word posts is NOT considered "posting" and therefore you will not qualify for prizes. Continued spamming will result in disqualification.
4. Ground shipment of prizes within the US will be given, if you wish for your prize to arrive sooner or out of the US you (the member) will be responsible for shipping costs thereon after.
5. Prizes must be claimed with 7 (seven) days of you (the member) gaining egibility to claim a prize.
6. If you decide to not claim the prizes and leave the contest; we are not responsible for the time, posts, or topics you made on this forum. Your posts/topics and time will remain on the boards unless we (COD4Boards.com) feels otherwise.
7. A maximum of one (1) prize can be claimed every thirty (30) days.
8. In order to be eligible for a prize you must receive no more than 3 infractions.
9. More rules and regulations may be added at a later date. You (the member) are responsible for keeping up to date on said rules and regulations.

Once you reach a new prestige your can claim your prize by sending me a private message on these forums and include your name, address, and preferred platform. (PC, PS3, or Xbox 360)

Its nice to see people contributing being rewarded and getting something back. Good on ya!

I'm still very excited at this, I've looked around and not seen any other Forum offering this. I do however have a concern, everyone might spam forums, would this count on there behalf or do you monitor the comments made for authenticity?
The time it will take to actually get 500+ posts will take a long time, will this offer even stand then??

I do believe that it doesn't take you very long to hit 500 (if you ask a fellow mod, Ryan Sko, he achieved 550 in less than a month, and many others have over 1000 after joining for barely 2 or 3 months). And it is also to my intention that the prizes will always be given out, and when they're not, the admin will make an announcement. Spammers will be noted and their chances of a prize will diminish.

Nova hit the nail on the head, we watch closely for spammers, we already had one case, ther first prize was denied, that member decided to change his ways and became respected once again, if he continues the good behaviour, he will be allowed prize 2.

As for time, I hit 1100 in 1 month, I have lowered activity due to exams but reached 3rd prestige 2 months after joining.
