Default New Graphics Cards on Laptops??

I have a crappy intel graphics card rarrrrr yep I know it's pants.

Is it possible to upgrade on a laptop/notebook to an nvidia etc???

I upgraded my old pc to an nvidia graphics card that was a desktop however, I'm not sure if it's possible on laptops?

Sorry if I seem a little dumb, I've never really had a laptop before just random question.

Its not a stupid question if you dont know the answer.

At the moment laptops arent upgradeable, the circuits/GPU's are embedded onto the Main Motherboard. But future Laptops (might) have onboard Intel Graphics Cards (crap for games) then an external add on (upgradable) for Gaming, but they have been showing us this for years, so when we will actually be able to purchase a said laptop is unknown.

Hope this helps

as above^^^
Currently laptops arent upgradeable, but some do come with mid/high end graphics cards. To fix your problem, i think you can only play older games at low settings.

dont worry though, my first computer was....A intel Pentium 1 with 150mhz clock speed, 64mb ram, 13in screen. I thought Jazz Jackrabbit was DA SHIZNIT!.......lols

Isn't her Intel graphics an actual integrated graphics system. I don't believe that they offer a stand alone system such as ATI or NVidia. Intel graphics I think is just an integrated graphics system that operates off of the processor. It's not even coined as a graphics card I don't think.
