Default Your thoughts on Dell?

You know, a lot of people have a bunch of smack to talk onto Dell... But I really do not see why. Dell.com in the past had horrible support, that is very understandable.. But what company has never had issues with support for their customers? Dell had a great idea, and they pursued their idea.. Cheap computers, cheap prices, hehe. Everyone knows, you get what you pay for these days, if something is cheap, obviously it's cheap for a reason. Now, what are your thoughts?

The XPS systems seem fine seeing they use them at a bunch of LANs now, even the CGS.

I have done a lot of business with Dell, in fact the computer next to me is a Dell and my dads computer is a Dell and from how much luck I've had with other peoples computers Dell has been the most stable of them all but this is also comparing Dell to Compaq and HP brand computers which are pretty horrible from my experiences.

For gamers HP/Gateway/Etc.. Are horrible in my opinion, but great for businesses. Dell is very reliable, yes.. But not the customer support unless you are willing to spend that nice high dollar sign on every system.

Never had really any interaction with their support desk so I guess I can't really say how well they do but it sounds horrible. :P I always do my own support. :D
