ATI or Nvidia
Plain and simple, what would you choose, and why?
-----------------------

For myself, I like Nvidia. Friendly user interface, great look, sleek design, and very compatible with the systems I build. Currently I am using a GeForce 7950GT and will be upgrading to their GeForce 8800GTS/GT.

Anyways, thats my thoughts.. What about yours?

ATI is for me however the drivers and the buzz about how ATI was better overclocked than a Nvidia or whatever crap there was out there Nvidia is starting to be better than ATI if it is not already, but I will stand tall and proud near my ATI and my Omega drivers . Also to take into consideration the SLi and CrossFire IMO I think CrossFire is better for the types of thing I happen to do.

I personally have a ATI X1600 due to i needed a half height graphics card.

But 2 of my Can mates got 8800 GT's before Christmas and they are stunning cards, high everything in COD4 & Crysis on a 19" Monitor and the graphics are stunning, pity i was the one who recommended it to them

Frame Rate runs over 100 FPS to over 200 FPS

ATi cards are good but slightly less user friendly even for advanced users. Nvidia seems to be the overall winner though for quality and ease of use.

Both are great company that have great cards but I have to go with nvidia because atm its ahead of ATI in gaming ways..in other such as video editing and such ATI has better cards..
