Update i found a GTX 280 at the right price however i had to upgrade my PSU to run it from a ez tornado 800 watt to a hiper HPU_4M880_PE 880 watt the EZ would run it until i had been playing COD4 for about 10 minutes then the pc would crash since upgrading no further issues.
The GTX 280 makes the game we play look like your watching a movie and the whole system runs like a dream.
so if your thinking about upgrading to the GTX make sure your PSU is up to the job
