COD4 has taken home 4 awards at the 26th Annual Golden Joystick Awards that were held in London over the weekend that's just gone.

The awards won were:

Nuts All-Nighter Multiplayer Game of the Year
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - Infinity Ward

PC Game of the Year (Sponsored by The United Kingdom e-sport Association)

Virgin Media Ultimate Game of the Year
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - Infinity Ward

Now that's quite an achievement, as if the original game of the year title wasn't enough on it's own! .

woah! thats awsome, after 2 years and still getting good awards...but it deserves it, it's the best FPS IMO.

i wouldn't be suprised if it got another couple of awards next year.
