Hey somethings wrong with the THREAD SEARCH. I searched for these exact words.. no scoping and it said no results and some other crap. So if it wasnt for this thread telling what other posts are out there i was about to post a thread tiltled "no scoping.. Also i did searches for these exact words and got the dreaded "no results" Best lmg... best smg best assault rifle ,,,, no reuslts when i did a search using the search bar... But when i post a thread i get hate posts saying there is already a thread like this, and it even has the same or similar title, so take it easy on people who are double posting maybe they did do a search. Fix your search option... Also if i post a thread in the xbox section, i dont want to hear that the thread already exists in the ps3 section, good for them, i could care less, i dont go there, dont have a ps3... helloooooo Thats why im posting in the 360 area... So if ps3 has a " no scoping" thread already and 360 doesnt ,, guess whos gonna start one? Me.. And another thing, the reason my search for no scoping came up with no results i just noticed was because the other 2 no scoping threads were posted like this.. No-Scoping so if someone doing a search leaves out the slightest detail they will get the dreaded " no results" and thats just dum that something as simple as - could throw of the search completely, no wonder there are so many double posts.. Thanks Syndrome for posting something we can actually use... your the man...

If you knew how to use the searchbar properly then you wouldn't have that problem. I see where you are coming from but it's not our fault that you don't know how to use the search function properly, therefore any duplicate threads WILL be deleted. The search function has a 3-letter minimum for searches so by putting in the 'no' in 'no scoping' would cause it to show no results. This is stated in the search bar tutorial. Only enter 'scoping' into the search bar, and search for 'topic titles only'.
It doesn't matter if it's in a different section, at the end of the day it's the same game so it shouldn't matter if you use a thread in a different category. Learn to use the search bar properly by following my tutorial and you shouldn't have any problems whatsoever.

Dam do i feel dum.. I just figured it was like google or similar were if i was to type "best gun " i would get results from everything with best in the title and everything with gun in the title.. My bad, i never read those things, or agreement terms, or user rules, i just try to use good common sense.. But so i wont look lke an idiot again i will read them.. So if theres a no scope thread in the ps3 section that hasnt had a post in say a month or two I cant start a different one in the xbox secton? I feel dum posting a reply to something that noone has posted about in 2 months..

It's an easy mistake to make, I'd be lying if I said that I didn't have a bit of a hard time with the search bar when I first joined. Which is one of the reasons why I wrote the search bar tutorial.
There's a couple of no scoping threads in the Xbox 360 section but for examples sake, if there's a 2-month old thread in a different category then you may make another thread in the category you'd prefer, BUT if it's a repeated thread like 'favourite weapon classes', 'favourite perks' etc etc, then it will most likely be deleted as there are more than enough threads available that you should post in, regardless of the age of the thread.
