Many people on this forum post that the M21 is a sorry excuse for a sniper and that it is an assault rifle in disguise. Yet there are many advantages to this gun. 1 it kills in a headshot like the other snipers and if you hit them in the torso then you can hit them again quickly as the recoil is nonexhistent. When run and gunners eventually do rush you it's easy to spray them down when scoped. Sure it's less accurate and you will probably use more bullets but it's easily the most versatile sniper rifle. To me, the M21 is the M4 to the M40A3's M16.

i agree with you. the m21 isn't my favorite sniper, but it is good.

i agree, I use the m21 anytime i play hardcore. i use the m40 though when i don't play hardcore because i like a sniper to put them down in 1 shot.

definitley an acurrate gun it was my first red tiger (golden Dragunove) and the it was the m40a3 only because of their low recoil. it remains my favorite

it like it. very good for mobile sniping, no need to switch to pistol to move around. no accuracy problems either

I'm not a big fan of analogies, but I would have to agree with you. Its a very effective sniper rifle when you are trying to push through the middle of a map where heavy fighting usually takes place and still has that knockout punch from a long distance.

I just prefer to use the Dragonov.

the drag i find very recoily (more than m21 at least) and on HC, m21 wud be good choice
BUT ur a sniper...sniper = 1 shot kill...shud recoil matter? shud u take a second shot? NO NONO NO NO NO!!!! take the m40a3 personal fav, its most accurate and by this i mean if ur crosshair is on a bottle a whole overgrown map length across from u, shoot and it WILL HIT...m21 usually wont...and r700 is my 2nd fav, also a verygood sniper

I have to agree that the M21 is a good rifle, but like IczyG pointed out,
SNIPER = 1 shot 1 kill
