So true, anyone who says normal is more realistic than hardcore needs to grow a pair of nuts and shoot a weapon at someone. Like it has been stated before yes a pistol shot to the foot and you die in hardcore, however, if I shot you in the foot right now you would certainly not be turning around to load a clip into me. Maybe in a few seconds, but thats after you have fallen to the ground, screaming, blood everywhere, held your foot in vain as a child, then realized you were in a combat situation and someone might be getting ready to actually take terminal shot at you, so you would then grab a weapon and defend your gimp immobile body. Hello people the match is only 10 minutes long, taking a death is a much better option. Besides if you have to use stopping power on almost every weapon with the exception of a few in normal, what's the point. If that were the way life really was, that, we would prefer some imaginary ability to make our bullets do more damage because it was needed to effectively kill someone, we would have just evolved into shooting much larger caliber weapons. Hardcore is more realistic based on these facts alone. Not even mentioning normal modes ability to regenerate health, and nifty little on screen aids to tell you how many grenades and ammo you have left, and warn you of incoming grenades. Also for gods sake how can normal be realistic with that damn radar up constantly. Don't make yourself sound stupid by making ridiculous claims that normal is more realistic than hardcore based on pistol shots to the foot when you have a damn map that shows you where all the bad guys are up all the time. Idiots.
