that doesnt mean its a bad perk. every perk has its purpose this one is to tell you if the enemy is near you without using a radar/uav

What makes you think that "no one" uses it?? Do you know every single player who plays COD4 do you??

The perk comes in handy if you are with a bunch of mates vs another bunch of mates because we actually talk strategy, not mindless crap. Communication is the best way to win a battle so to listen in on the other teams directions definitely gives you the upper hand.

Just because YOU don't like the perk doesn't mean that everyone else doesn't. Like cdplayer96 said, the perk is there for a reason, just learn how to use it properly.

The people who don't use it obviously don't know what they're missing out on.

It's a good perk, you just have to play with good people.

The less people that use it, the better it is for me. It is the perk I use the least but it does get used a fair bit, they don't just put it in there to for nothing.

Don't knock it until you try it properly.
