It can be the difference between a win or loss in an S&D match. Consider sneaking up on an attentive sniper from behind as a new option.

Your footsteps won't be heard. So you can pretty much sneak up on people who are sniping just like scope out said, because a lot of people listen for footsteps.

As an added bonus to making no noise with your running/walking/stepping down from areas (not too high), you gain the ability to clearly hear people. Know when you're running and you hear footsteps you'll know that it's someone else and most likely an enemy. Check your Radar or ask/press start to make sure it's not you're teammates and then bam! It's go time.

It's a good perk, but I'd only consider using it for S&D.

Steady Aim and Extreme Conditioning are more useful in more situations for my money.

Just to clear up any confusion it REDUCES the amount of noise made, it does not make you silent. If you have a good headset you can still make out footsteps it's just not as clear as normal.
