Hey all, I've seen a few posts about this sort of thing recently, how to get multiple UAV's, Airstrikes, and Choppers. Most people are talking about getting your airstrike or chopper, die (or kill yourself), get 1 kill (or more) then launch your support to get another one a lot faster.
Well my question is, and it may be confusing other people as well, but I've read a few posts where people claim to get multiple UAV's, Airstrikes, and Choppers WITHOUT DYING...
How is that possible, or are these guys full of it? I mean, UAV is after a 3 kill streak, Airstrike, 5, and Chopper is 7 kill streak. If you got all of those and say you got another 3 right after the chopper (remember, no dying), you are now up to a 10 kill streak, not a 3 kill streak so you wouldn't get another UAV. And that goes the same for airstrike's and Choppers. Without dying, you are simply continuing the original kill streak so you shouldn't be able to get more support.
Or am I wrong????

If you call the airstrike and then die by getting shot and the airstrike is still going on doesn't it start a new kill streak. Then you continue killing and get Heli. If during the heli you get killed and the heli is still around doesn't that start a new kill streak. I'm mean what do people do in here, call airstrike and heli's and go hide somewhere. I don't, i continue to kill and the total of kills from airstrikes and heli's starts your streak again. As long as you have airsupport and heli's and continue to kill during these strikes after you die, you can continuisly have air and chopper support. I don't understand what all the fuss is about dieing before you call air or choppers. Call them, if you get a kill you get the chopper. If you die the chopper is still around to start the streak until you get UAV. Of course you have to die to do this. I have reread my earlier post and i think i didn't type what i meant, came out wrong.

The thing about the air strikes and choppers is, they are only good on the life that you called them in. For example: Say you got a 5 kill streak, call you air strike in, and get 2 more. Now you have a chopper. If you call it in right away, you'll start racking up kills to get a nice Kill Streak. If you die AFTER calling it in, when you respawn, all the kills it gets WILL NOT go towards your streak, just your score. If you wait until you die to use your chopper, and it gets 5 kills, then you'll have a airstrike. If you die before it gets 5 kills, then, once again, all the kills it gets after you respawn WILL NOT go towards your streak, just your score. I recommend that whenever you get a helicopter, save it until you die, then call it. Once you call it in, play it safe and sit back a little so i can rack up kills and get you another helicopter.
Well the whole dying to get more airstrikes and choppers does seem a little silly to me, I don't do it (although I usually end up dying before I can send them off, so it's the same thing ). But it's the fact that you HAVE TO DIE first before a new streak starts and you get more support. You just can't keep going, hidden away somewhere not doing anything like some posts suggest, letting the support kill everyone, and getting you more support, and goes on endlessly. That was my point I was trying to figure out.

Exactly, that's not possible. Although I guess technically you could... Once you get a Copter, kill yourself, send it in and hide until it gets 7 kills, then kill yourself again, and repeat. But that wouldn't be any fun.

Good post trev, this is the clearest post that I have read on this issue... well, on how to get multiple choppers/airstrikes by killing yourself. And it answers the questions I asked, beautifully summed up

You can easily get 7 kills from one chopper...wouldn't be practical to get another chopper at 14 kills...else once one person called in a chopper, they'd just keep calling them in, it'd be a nightmare.
