When, if ever, do you prefer the 3x special grenades perk over the 3x frag perk.

I'll be unlocking 3x frag soon so I was wondering about this.

Flashes/stuns can be thrown around a corner in a second, and then you can mop up the mess. With frags though, you're probably gonna have to cook them for a few seconds if u want a kill.

So I guess using the specials would be faster.

But do the benefits of using frags greatly outweigh those of the specials?

I always use the 3xfrags, but that is because I like to throw a grenade, and if it's near someone, take the kill.

And a flash bang or stun grenade (I hate smoke grenades) can be useful if you are just outside the room, but if you are on the ground and trying to throw it through a window, a frag is better cause it can kill . With the specials, by the time you got up there, they would have already recovered, and be well aware that you are on your way.

Just my thoughts on them though, although I've seen lots of people use the specials instead.

I like using Special Grenades x3 when my whole team is running around knifing people. However, that is the only real time where I would prefer it over Frags x3.

i love 3x special's!! - there's a certain satisfaction from stunning /blinding some1 then picking them off as they struggle to see!! - i know blowing the fook outta people is equally fun!! =- however bit more tatical/skillful using specials!! - also you can pick up like millions of assists using specials had like 34 assists from specials alone (roughly.... was shooting peeps too, but usually kill, not wound ;P)

x3 frags for maps like Wetwork and Shipment.. it's a great tactic, but I never use it.

I love them both equally. I like to use 3x special when I am using a stealthier class. It allows me launch them from a distance and withe extreme conditioning on I can really do some damage with those stun grenades. I really only use them on maps that have a lot of corners and buildings.

3x frag's I use most of the time. I will launch them at the beginning of the game and sometimes I get lucky. There have been times where I have gotten 4 kills at the start just by launching all 3 frags. I bet they were pissed.

i use clays ( i always find ways to use them offensively)
but as for the grenades
i use frag, never special, even on my stealth class (only one w/out clays lol)
why? because they kill, why throw a stun if u frag them?
if u flash someone (ie with a flash grenade, not showing ur ****), if they get blinded they are near the grenade, if they only get the ringing sound they arent that near it but the ringing doesnt do much to them. now if theyare close, they get blinded, but why blind them if u can explode them? =D
just my thoughts. oh and i also use c4 on my smg class, i think it might come in handy someday lol

As soon as I unlock 3x frag I put them on every class except my sniper one, where I use bandolier
