M16 if I'm playing S&D...M4 if I'm just messing around in Team Deathmatch! Or I'll just use an MP5 w/ red dot sight.

Personally, I only like the M4 better because IMO, it looks better. They way I play the game, I really never need the full auto.

Army is starting the replace the M16 with the M4 Carbine. Remember, carbines are a different, I guess you could say, type of rifles.

i know they are diffrent but how....
are they like smaller versions of Assault rifles?

because i know the M4 is smaller than the M16 so maybe M4 is kind of a SMG/Assault Hybrid

Since both guns are excellent gun I just love the M4 over the M16. I think the only reason I use the M16 is to raise my accuracy .

when I first started to play the game I got so accustomed to the m16 that switching to a fully automatic was big challenge. But over time I believe that the carbine is better than the m16. I use the silencer on pretty much every gun that I have and I find that the iron sights on the carbine are better than the one on the m16. I also run n gun so having an automatic allows me to get kills easier than having the m16.

i like M4 because you have an option for how fast you fire and i cant stand a 3 round burst.

Unlike most people, I personally suck with the M16. And being that the M4 is my second favorite gun besides the G3, I'd go with the M4. My weakness with the M16 is shooting people while they're on the run.
