First off, I was glad to read this thread. At first, I thought it was another member angry I deleted his posts. Would have been 3 hate threads in 3 days! These threads are way better though.

To answer your question. When I play alone and without a team I play Mercenary TDM. Mainly this because I find myself to be a damn good player, and Mercenary is a game play that does not allow organized teams to play. So I find it easier to get wins in this game type when I have no one to invite to a party.

However, if I do have some friends on line, which I normally always have. I invite them. If I have less then 3 friends we do regular TDM. We will play TDM until we get a group of 5 or 6. We refuse to do Headquarters without the full team because we play a specific way.

Once we get a full party of 6 people, me being one of them, we head over to HQ. Now we play this to get points so we do everything in our power to do so. As you know, HQ ends when a team gets 250 points, or the time limit is up. 250 points is cake to get with a group of myself and 5 other guys so when we get close to ending the game via point limit we stop capturing the HQ. We then defend. We set up posts around the uncaptured HQ and prevent the other team from getting it. This allows us to get kills, we do so until the time limit comes close to a end. Once time gets low, we capture the last HQ that will win the game for us via points with less then a minute of time left. This is how I've found to get maximum points out of HQ, and this is how I do it.

Again, it's not easy to do without a group of people because public players don't always listen and tend to capture the HQ when you say not to.

The best part about it is every post is on topic and exhibits valid information and help requested by another member. I'm on these forums from the minute I wake up until I go to sleep, taking time aside for food and laundry and stuff.. social life here and there. I've only been so active because my X-Box red ringed on me so I have nothing else to sit in front of all day.

I start a new job tomorrow so I won't be as active starting tomorrow, and then when I get my X-Box back that will lower my activity once again. I'll learn to cope with it and still remain active though.

Oh I see. Yeah, its pretty impressive how you manage to do it. I have a question for you: Are you going to keep playin Call of Duty till you get ranked in the top 100 globally or what? I'm just curious because it seems as if you are a very dedicated player and have the potential to get there someday in my opinion.

I'm going to keep playing it even when CoD 5 comes out, yes. I would play until I got the into the #1 spot, and even then, I'd keep playing.

HQ? Personally I find Sabotage better, you get more points per kill and games can last longer (IIRC), plus it's easy to predict where people are likely to be going.

That's what I do most (and Domination).

HQ can get a little tedious, especially when up against Extreme Conditioning noobs that race straight to the HQ.

Maybe I should be a bit more active at COD4B rather than NGB XD
