I am really discouraged right now with hardcore. I don’t know if it’s just me or what but I have so much trouble on hardcore I am ready to completely abandon it.

On most maps I cant move without it seeming like there is a huge flashing red sign over my head that says I AM HERE…AIM HERE….KILL ME!!!

It is like everyone is sitting waiting for me to move and as soon as I poke my head out from where ever it is I have taken cover (if I can even get to some cover) Bam, I am dead.

I went 1 and 12 this morning on Ambush. I quit after I was 2 and 18 I think. I was doing do much damage to my team that it is a wonder that we were winning.

I don’t have as much trouble on maps like cross fire because there is a lot of cover but maps like countdown and ambush I just stink up the place so bad I am sure when I leave ppl say “thank God he is gone!”

Don't play HC. People just camp spots and wait for someone to run across their screen.

Hey HC is the bomb!!!! Dude just b/c u cant get a shot in dont hate it. U just have to be fast with shooting and spoting people.

You gotta have faster reactions, but slower player movement. Dont do what your saying and just break cover expecting a kill. You have to think, use smoke, use your team for cover, walk/move in unexpected places. Use UAV Jammer if it still aint working.

And your gonna have to react faster to enemy positions. Sometimes its almost as if you have to have a 6th sence.

Almost.

You cant play it in the "DOOM" "Quake" style that regular mode is. And remember, any decent hardcore player knows ever inch of every map, so dont ever think your safe.

I do try to play in the Unreal Tournament style. I know I have to slow it down, but damn after all these years of playing balls to the walls with my hair on fire it's gonna take some time.

Don't give up on this game type. I sucked BAD when I first started playing hardcore, too. After a while I got my classes set the way that worked for me. UAV jammer is a huge help. I also like silenced weapons in this game type. The biggest thing I found to help in playing HC is to get some friends who play, and always play with the same people. After a while everyone knows there part in the big picture and you can own the other team. Communication is also key in HC. We have a couple players on my team that like to snipe, depending on the map. They provide support and call out enemy positions to the guys who rush. Some people call that camping, but I call it strategy. Ultimately HC is more strategy based and I now play it almost all the time. Keep practicing and look me up on Xbox live sometime. Good Luck!!

you shouldn't be too eager to get to the enemy, take it slow and the enemies will come. never sprint into a building and check your corners. HC takes time to get used to and it kills your k/d ratio too get used to it. stealth classes always help in HC
