I have looked in the weapon stats database and searched for this but no useful topics came up. What are the actual sniper scoping times? I have seen threads that say "This feels the fastest/slowest" but I don't trust people's feelings, especially when I read the exact opposite later. I'd like actual stats. Does anybody know them?

all regular scopes come up at the same speed. the acog comes up faster.

you could always time them yourself. never seen a scope time statstic. or you could go with what you think is fastest

I was hoping for stats that looked at code or frame based timing. All I could do is by hand, which is really not accurate enough at all.

I'm pretty sure the scopes do not all come up at the same speed, they feel different. I may be wrong, but I've heard they are different.

What happened to not going on someones feelings? lol. Im not going on yours neither.

the look and size of the guns plays with your eyes. you think its coming up slower because the gun looks bigger.

Those are someone's feelings. My feelings are better.
But they aren't good enough, that's why I want stats.

As to above person, I don't really care if they all are the same speed, I just want proof. Also knowing the time would be nice too.

All of them are under a second arent they? What difference does it make?

And if you already have your sights on someone without realising then it will appear quicker when you scope in.

i think they are all the same but acog is faster for sure

Feelings aside, Barret, M21 and Dragunov all come up faster than the M40 and R700, they have the fastest scoping times. The R700 comes up a mili-second shorter than the M40. Although i couldn't tell you the exact times.
