Call of Duty 5 - your thoughts...

I hear that COD5 will return to WW2. What are your thoughts on another WW2 game? Somebody said it might take place in the Pacific, I wouldn't be suprised if it took place during WW1 - we haven't seen a WW1 game yet...

im not even interested in buying this game since it is not made by IW,
I am honestly really upset that this is going to be on the PC,
This is going to kill the popularity for cod4, so i don't kn what will happen competitively but it wont be good
Even though Treyarch made UO the best Cod game to date,
That game was just an expansion off of the first game made by IW

I probably will buy for the PC, but i will still keep playing CoD4 on Xbox. I hope it is like CoD2 with better graphics. I really miss the days of running around with a sniper in CoD2. It is a WWII game.

i think they will expand on the modern warfare part. i dont see why they would go back in time, especially bc of how well cod4 is doing. it will probably include more weapons and different locations in the world. ie, maybe the us or europe is being invaded by terrorists, etc...

No, it'll be on consoles as well.

I'm not too sure. I'll definitely rent it a few times to see if it's worth buying. It kinda ticks me off that they're going back to WWII after having so much success with Modern Warfare

they wouldnt make a WWI game... there wouldnt be much fun to it... all WWI was thousands of soldiers in trenches.. then they get up... and get mowed down by a machine gun...

its gonna be WWII

most of ww1 was trench warfare, however there were quite a bit of battles that were not just trench warfare.

As a history major in college, I found WW1 very interesting, even more so than WW2. Britain and France both lost more men in WW1 than in WW2, but your right it prob wouldn't be too fun to play a trench warfare game, all snipers and heavy gunners along with mustard gas.

I heard a rumor that COD5 will take place in the Pacific and it will include some naval warfare as well...
