I was sitting thinking today how much I like sniping and the pleasure I get from it. Like when I kill someone and you see their blood splatter from the bullet going through them...or when you kill people one after the other as they run to a flag. I was on Airfield the other day camping with my PTRS close to the A flag and was killing people one after the other. They only had the A flag and they were all running out of the building and getting shot by myself and another sniper that was sitting to my right. Between the two of us we ensured the win. When you have a great game sniping it is like a rush..you can't wait to go to another map and find that special spot to continue.

Any other snipers have some thoughts to add?

^ Awesome video. I must say that I enjoy sniping on WaW more than I do on COD4. Purely because of the gore factor.

Was stoaked when they added the headshot sound in with the latest update too. I haven't actually been sniping at all on my main account (mainly because I can barely get out of my spawn spot without being killed, let alone finding a good place to snipe, plus my bad connections mean that I have to take at least two shots most times).

I have been sniping on my other account though (practice account), and it's been great fun. I really have to do it more though, I've just been having too much fun with my trusty MP40.

Yeah, sniping definitely gives me more enjoyment than kills with any other guns. Gore is awesome in this game.

YEA! i recognice myself in this, i love going out at night irl walking into some dumbasses house after skillfully tossing a grenade into his door-lock (picking is for noobs, should be nerfed) and then planting the barrel of a huge fukkin mosin nagant against his head and BAM.. sniped foo! yea i love that stuff. I prefer being 1 hit killed from 100 miles away by a noob who found out he could hold a directional button and R1 for awesome.

Sniping is way underated now that the unbalance pack has been introduced, you think you got skillz at gamez? try COD WAW now for those who dont like skillz and want to hoard the points for fuuuk dats OHgod!

Im gonna play LBP, its somewhat more pro than cod waw in my book.

I also shoot women and children but i have to make those up cause their models arent in the game (yet)

i must say that i enjoy my browning more. i love to see arms and legs flying everywhere lol. and yes i love also love sniping but i wont be doing it much until the spawns are fixed.

i love sniping on this game now a lot more than 4. i particularly love taking the sniper scope off and wrecking people w/ just iron sights on the bolt action rifles. but thats just me.

i do agree w/ you all on the gore factor. its just a pleasurable new addition to eye candy.

Nice vid, I always enjoyed sniping on cod4 to just because I enjoy being that thorn in everybodies side. I'm usually that guy all alone making it so you can't flank my team. The one thing I must bring up that I noticed in your vid. You shoot a lot of people in the crotch. It made me laugh. It's either head or crotch, I didn't really see many shots that went anywhere else.

Yeah...I was laughing at the blood splattering etc....that was not me in the video...however the person that made it said the reason they shot them there was to see the body parts fly off or the blood etc. If you click on the name of the video above the picture you can go to youtube and see it in high quality, (my preference) which is a much better view of it. Then you can read the comments.

Ah I love a good snipe

Sniping in this game is more enjoyable for me as well.
The maps are much larger so you get a greater thrill sniping. The small maps of cod4 made sniping seem a little too easy. I also must admit I like to be the guy hiding in the distance just picking people as they think there all safe. The thrill of watching my teammates do battle in close quarters just to have all the enemies drop around them. Then tol hear them bit*h at me in the mic. Ahh the joy of sniping.
