I know you must be thinking "WTF?? how can you be unsure???" But i am very unsure about MW2m, why? Because theres a HUUUUUUGE hype on this game, and lets be honest, most sequals to a very succesful amazing game end up in failure, and you can't deny that. There might be a few that ended up just as good, but 90% of the time they end up worse. Since there is a big hype on MW2 it puts pressure on IW.

They will be thinking they need to put something special in it that will make us all jump for joy, like Treyarch done with WaW introducing tanks, and how did that work out? Very bad, very bad indeed. Most of the time when they think they need to put something special and unique in, it ends up overpowered and ruins the game. CoD4 was the first in the series that took us to modern warfare, so there was no pressure and no hype, and we got success. They didn't need anyhting too special to lure us in, but they might feel MW2 does as they need it to be somewhat diffrent from CoD4.

What about guns? More overpowered guns? an MP40 equivilent? another 1 burst kill gun? weapon balancing please (I do think IW wont make the mistake Treyarch made with overpowered guns like the MP40, but even the best make mistakes) I'll admit, i think the guns will be balanced and the weapons will turn out great, but it's the added feautures like tanks that could ruin the game.

Whats this snowmobile thing? Please don't say we will get 5 snow maps with snowmobiles going 300 mile an hour with automatic turrets shooting everyone down. Please don't make helicopters drivable. The more i think, the more i grow unsure, the more i think they will intorduce horrible things that will make the game a living nightmare.

I dunno guys, i hope i'm wrong though.

Call of Duty 4 - 10th prestige level 55!

my believe is that its gonig to be a clone of MW ,
new maps , guns and a few new perks . its like they say why fix something that aint broke .
alls im hoping for is more hardcore game modes ie domination , capture the flag , free for all etc.
at the moment the price that has been banged about is £ 40 - 45 ???? hope not its a little bit high for my liking , i would rather get it through the download content and pay in the region of £ 15 - 20 for it as i need to buy two games 1 for the xbox and 1 for the ps3

i think they will do a great job. like darth said...new shiny stuff and same great game. i think they worked harder on the campaign like with the special ops thing and mabey the co-op offline campaign which i would personally love to see. it sucks havin a buddy over and sayin ok dude its ur turn...ya know? lol i think itll be great though....i hope cuz i already preordered the limited edition

i hear you x. trust me you're not alone in thinking that way. i remember being so hyped about gtaiv. don't get me wrong; the game looks incredible and is a dream to play, but there was just that anti climax feeling about it. anyway i digress. i like the way it looks so far having seen the gameplay trailer. everything is pretty much as was in cod4. i hope above all else that the multiplayer element will require a fair amount of skill rather than noobs using the Rigor Mortis Laser Tag weapon that is the m16 with stopping power. anyway i think they will do better than we think.

I was thinking from the released videos that the snowmobiles were attacking but not available to us. Like in multiplayer in MW we didn't get tanks but we had to take them out in the campaign. Just a guess on my part. But I do think IW will release a good product with balanced weapons. They used a formula in MW and that formula can be repeated in MW2. They have good designers and the money from the success of MW to spend on creating something special. Confidence is high for me.

I think if they add vehicles like they did in WaW, I will end up not playing it. I hated the tanks in WaW, it's just cheap kills and making it so nobody can get you.

all i want is the same old gameplay, new guns, new maps, new perks, new camo and customizable characters. and how bout something for hitting 10th presitge 55, like gold guns or something else unique.

What is the fun of the same game, just different stuff.

if it aint broke, then dont fix it.
