I've basically had CoD4 for about 4-6 months..

I've been experiencing restarts during CoD4.

So what I'm trying to say is that after I join a match, play, and then the match finishes, the whole screen would go black, and then like 10 seconds later, it beeps, then restarts..

I know it wouldn't be a online problem, because I also tried to play on Multiplayer split screen.

Any ideas post aSaP!

My advice would be to try and buy another copy of cod4. If that doesnt work it may be your ps3 (hope not though)

I always thought that it might have been my Ps3, because it scratches the cd's.

you really should get your ps3 checked out then if thats the case. It will ruin all of your games

It is unlikely that a network problem would cause a game restart. Do you have similar problems with other games or just COD4? How is your system with DVD/Blu-Ray playing? If problems exist with both other games AND movie play backs then sorrily, your system is in need of repair or replacement. If movies play fine & problem does not present with any other game, then you may likely have a bad copy of COD4 & will need to get that replaced.

I bet it is your console. Is the warrenty void?

Does your PS3 get hot before it restarts itself?

You're PS3 might be B.O.OB.. "Bad Out Of Box". Check you're warenty like I said.. If it isn't void, just return the PS3 or get it repaired.

Where do i check if the warranty is void?

I think it does, because just when the ps3 was restarted or was restarting, it is boiling hot...

I thought that it might have been the ps3's area, so i moved my ps3 to another place, now it is sitting on a wooden table, and has nothing covering it on the sides or on the top.

also I experienced overheat in the first 1-2 months when i first got my ps3 about a year ago.
