recently I got a new cd key (Im using STEAM btw) so I think it might have something to do with it.

It seems like everytime I start up cod4 it will say something about data and my stats getting erased. I'm not using any of those stupid level 55 instant hacks, or any kind of trainer or anything.

So heres what I think the problem is:

I got new cd key, I changed my cd key in the multiplayer options, but since I just put my computer to sleep instead of shutting down, that might be part of the problem.

I also did start > run > regedit and found my old cdkey in the registry and replaced it with my new one, only problem is when I start up cod4 and look at the multiplayer options > CD Key it only shows the last four diggits (whereas normally it would show the whole thing).

Im also sure I put it in the registry right and stuff so Im not sure what the problem could be. if anyone has any help that would be great.
