Multiplayer Issues

:o HI Guys, need your help. Just bought a new PC just to play Call of duty 4. I have all the correct hardware for the game. But I can't play multiplayer.

I am able to play single player with alot of lagging but cannot log on to Multiplayer.

i dont know a lot about PC's but since there is lagging isnt that due to your connection, so maybe your connection is to slow or the processor is to slow or something, maybe not enough RAM i dk im just spittin out things that could be right
