I have been searching all over and read quite a couple of forums here and on other sites but I am not finding a problem to my solution..

I recently updated punkbuster and then installed the v1.7 update for the game. I have a legal copy on a legallly installed XP HOme SP3 pc. I cant connect to any servers.. I can see the servers but whenever I try and connect it just counts down to 10 (while doing the key code authorization) and then tells me the server disconnected me. obviously very frustrating. but even more frustrating was a weird thing that happened.. I was a level 55 and it somehow wiped and reset my stats.. now I have to start ALL OVER AGAIN!!!!!!

One more thing... I have tried all the solutions mentioned on this forum site.. REloading, re-installing etc.. Weird thing is tho.. I live in South AFrica, all the local servers run v1.7. I am able to connect to International servers but not my local servers.. but International is useless cause my ping goes thru the roof.. over 400...

Just to upate this.. I managed to figure out what the problem was... all on my won, thanks to everyone who helped.. dont all jump at once.. It to do with the way my ISP routed my ip addresses..
