I have 2 xbox's with 2 seperate xbl accounts and couple copies of COD4. We can play online together fine if we are in seperate matches but when we try to play together in same room it always kicks one or the other out. We have been in same party and it will also split us off into two seperate matches.
Just wondering if anyone else having that problem? Also all other party up games we can play in same room with no problem, gears, halo3, tfc2, burnout ect., and ironically COD2 works fine as well, hehe.

I don't know what to tell you, I have never experienced that but it sounds to be quite annoying.

I take it you're both sharing the same internet connection? That may be the cause of it.

To get into the same team, make sure you both type in a clan tag that is identical to each other. If you want your mate in the same match as you, find a match first and click 'Invite Friends'.

Both you guys are most likely sharing the same IP - This almost always causes problems specially when joining the same games. :S

Of course I could not hate networking more so there's no way I'm trying to find a fix to this - But good luck to you on this one :P

Thanks for the ideas but I of course have seperate IP's assigned to each xbox as I have over a dozen double copies of multiplayer games that we play just fine together in the same matches as mentioned in my first post, the ONLY one that does not work is COD4 which is so strange. I would like to know of someone who actually has similar setup with 2 xboxs that actually play together in the same match, would love to know their secret, LOL.
