Atm I can't get into games or even listen to voice messages either
At first I was not able to get past the screen when it gets your player data when you go on the Xbox Live option in the menu
Then I figured to get someone to invite me, and I managed to bypass that screen and got a good 2/3 hours of play. Then it screwed up somehow and I haven't been able to play since
I have resetted lots of times, even my modem etc but still no luck
Have you checked the disk for any scratches or other problems?

Never had this problem but once i couldn't read voice messages either for some weird reason but only happened for a couple hours (not reading voice messages). Maybe you should unplug EVERYTHING. AV cables from xbox and tv the power and everything. Let it stand for maybe like 5 minutes and plug it back in. That actually fixed my freezing problem (not sure if it was the solution) but try it anyways.

Not really, if you think about it, EVERYTHING gets malfunction and i mean EVERYTHING. Computer, printers, cellphones EVERYTHING, so to me its not a surprise that xbox360 has a little problem here and there

Lol, read this news article that was posted yesterday:
WoW, i admit i got a problem with my Xbox 6 months after buying it. Not red ring of death but overheating. I let it stand by from June18-June20 with no gameplay whats so ever, just chilling in front of a fan. The 360 disconnected from everything and when i turned it on, still overheat. I was like wtf? Microsoft gave me a new Xbox though (free of charge) and gave me a month of Xbox live when the delivery process and everything took nearly 2 weeks. Haven't had a serious problem like RRoD here and my new Xbox360 is working great.
That's good to hear that you haven't had further problems. I was shocked when I read that only 16 out of every 100 of its IBM-made processors worked, meaning that an unbelievable 68 percent of consoles made were faulty/dead.

Well, im guessing the Xbox360 that Microsoft returned to me was 1 of those 32% of the consoles that worked. lol because i never had a problem yet. I'm also shocked to hear that. Next time i buy a console ima do some harcore research like this to see if theres any problems or complaints about it (lol)
