So I ran CoD4 in safe mode when I got the prompt, and now I can't seem to cancel safe mode. All my sound/graphics is the choppy "safe mode" version, and I'm not exactly sure how to reverse this. Any help would be appreciated.

All you have to do is exit the game by Control Alt Delete or something Harsh, and than it will ask you that message again when you start it up again, the window should come up asking about safe mode, and just say no.

Also, I have this weird problem. When I start up COD4, I always receive this message about setting optimal settings for my new hardware. And I never installed anything new!

Can anyone tell me why it does this.
