I cannot type any thing that is not letters. I need to type [ ] and ! cause i joined a clan. it will not let me. how do i do it? for PC

You can change your name in your config_mp.cfg file by adding
Code:
seta name "yourname"
to it or by changing the entry if it already exists.

well, i figured it out. what you do is go into My Computer and double click on C: drive (or what ever drive it is installed on) click on program files, then Activision, then COD4, then Players, then profiles. you then right click on empty space and create a new folder. then rename it to the name you want to use (up to 14 characters) and escape from there. when you start COD4, your new profile is ready to use.
