Default Error during initialization:

Hey PC Guys (and Gals if you exist ),

I only play on the PS3, but I'm a web administrator and I get bored at work, , so I downloaded a copy of COD4 for PC and I get this error:

Error during initialization:
Video card or driver doesn't support UBYTE4N vertex data.

Now I am well aware that it is because my graphics card (on board video) is nowhere near powerful enough, but my computer is quite powerful; 3 GHz Duo core processor, 2 gigs of RAM, and 80 GB HD (although pretty much full of crap ), so I should be able to run it provided I had the graphics (which by the way is one of those up to 256 or 512 MB of video bull sh*t type chips).

My question is, is there any way to get around this graphics issue? Any settings or patch or something that I can apply that could get me around this issue. I'm aware the game certainly would not be running at good quality or anything, but I'd like to try if possible.

JDGR:
COD 4 needs a graphics card that supports both vertex and pixel shader v2.0, what most onboard cards don't. There is no way to get around this issue besides buying another graphics card.
The other components of your PC would be more than sufficent to run COD.

tommyd33:
It's usually very difficult to impossible to update a notebook's graphics card.
