Well it just started happening a little while ago and I've been really frustrated! I've researched it a little bit and found out that this generally happens to people who have the game ILLEGALLY or have used CDKEY generators, which I haven't done either!

Well, I BOUGHT COD4:MW from Best Buy a few months ago (maybe January), so I don't know what the problem is. Did someone like hack into my computer and steal it or what?!

I'm very frustrated and I hope you guys can help! Please I just want to play!

Oh yeah, and the error shows when I try to connect to a server and then I get disconnected.

Also, I tried re entering my code into the options menu and it says its good.....so I don't know what to do.

Would updating my game help? I use v1.0. Would updating delete my stats and challenges?
