Hey all. I am new to this so please bare with me.

I have had a PS3 for quite a while now and my mate has just bought one for the purpose that we can play a private game together..

The thing is. When either of us tries to invite the other to a game. it will soon come up with a message along the lines of:

'suchabody is inviting you to join them'

Shortly after pressing 'X' on the control pad it comes up with an Error:

'Unable to connect to host'

Does anyone know what this is happening. we can both play on a game connected to the internet on the global scale. Just not between ourselves.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Usually this is happening when all spots in the game have filled up.

You can try inviting him through "party invite" BEFORE going to start any match's.

However, if you are playing a private match with just the two of you, then I have no idea

When the game is full it says "Server is full" I thnk Unable to connect to host is when there is someone very far away such as Irish person inviting American Person, or if there ISP isnt very fast and cant support the party.

But still not sure.
