there now soo much lagg hard for me to play ,the others games like gta and burnout soo easy online but before the new ps3 update came out the game was fine i was always on it now cba (cant be ask) to play it now cuz this frecking lagg

i think there should be an update to stop lagg

I have not had lagg issues but my ps3 randomly freezes with this new update. The usual maps lag. Bog and wetworks.

I like the in game xmb option, it works nice if you have a buddy online playing cod4 and you want them to leave the game to join your party.

Does it still lag if you are hosting the game?

Lag is caused by your connection to hosts connection.

Chances are it was a foreign host, a badly connected host (if everyone's connection was low) or your signal is pissweak.

In which case, I'm exactly the same. My signal strength is fluctuating between 45 and 55 per ****ing cent. I wish there was something I could do but my mum is so obsessed with 'you'd **** it all up' or 'where would we put it' or all the other crap that I can't do anything about it, course it doesnt bother her cos the router is practically next to her... I moved my PS3 and computer one day downstairs and was delighted at the 90% but she screamed and had a hissy fit at that.... Thing is she doesn't see it as a problem but when I've got internet 80% of the time and only getting around 50% signal.... the internet is ****ty.

I do believe the update has made COD a lot more laggy. The thing with signal strength is funny, at one point I was getting 10% signal (I live on the third floor) so I could barely play, I went and moved the router off the table onto the window sill and got 60%. 50% for a couple of inches movement, bargain!

Yeah I agree games are very laggy now since that update, I get 2-3 bars most of the time.

And the chance of me accepting a party invite is 10/90%
