Default Black Screen on 360

I start the game and it immediately goes black.
I can hear the noises and everything, I can even play a game but I can't see anything.
I tried plugging in the wires and all the stuff and restarting it, but nothing works.
This is for the Xbox 360, any help?

Are you using the standard component cables that came with the system? check the part that connects to the xbox 360. Make sure you didn't bump the switch. It has an HD option and if you have it in HD mode on a Standard TV a black screen is what you will receive.

Do you own any other games? If so do your cords work with the other games? It sounds like you have a a/v cable with a short in it somewhere. With your a/v cables plugged in trying wiggling them around where the three connecter wires combine into the one cable. Also try wiggling around the cord where it connects to the connector thats plugged into the back of your system. If you get picture going on or off or flickering it's probably a short in your a/v and you should buy a new one. If the cable isn't the problem you should check the settings on your tv and the display settings on your xbox and make sure that everything is correct.

Yeah, this seems like a problem with your TV, and not with your Xbox. (thank god!)

Like what others said, I'd replace the cables and try it again, and make sure everything is hooked up properly (some of the wires might be loose).

No other games work.
I'm going to get new cables to see if that works, and if it doesn't, I don't know.

Thanks all.
