I have a 40G PS3, and its been running better then ever with the new update, i really dont understand why i would be causing you lot porblems... >_>

I've got the 80g and its been problem after problem, at least my ps3 didn't fry.

i wasent home at the time the update came out.
but my bro was and im glad he knew nothing about the update just as much as some of you other people.
so it worked out good for me.

I was able to download it and my playstation survived. makes me nervous in the future that it has the possibilty to kill the machine. for those of you who were unlucky and your ps3 was fried, did sony do anythign for you? like get you a replacement or anything?
