Issues in cod2

Hi I was wondering if anyone here can offer me some answers on whats happening to me on cod2. I just got this new pc and already have had multiple times where ill be playing cod2 mutiplayer and all of a sudden my graphics just go crazy and are all messed up and I have to reboot does anyone know what might be the cause of this and how I can prevent it from happening?
