Well, sometimes after clicking on the icon, I get the first screen (the green one with guy pointing gun at you), and then.. Nothing. No black screen, no apparent crash, no flickering, no nothing. Just desktop, as if I'd never clicked on it at all.

But, when that doesn't happen, it starts loading, and I get to the point where for just a SPLIT second I can see the main screen (with join, options, etc), before I get a crash message and have to click OK to go back to desktop. Sometimes it turns black for a second, sometimes it doesn't.

Also, the first time I ran the game after installation, it was fine until I went to join a game, then the sound just skipped over and over while I was setting options, etc.. Then yeah, when I went to join a game, it crashed.

What can I do about this? I have an Nvidia GeForce 6800 GT which is better than recommended, and a gig of dual channel ram, and I just updated my graphics driver less than a week ago.

So what's the problem/what can I do? Oh yeah, and I downloaded and installed the 1.6 patch too.

[EDIT]: My brother fixed it for me I think. Something to do with changing the name of a file.
