Ok so, i have a blast killing russians, so i beat the whole single-player n one night.So i'm excited about multi-player now, so i go off, registering, n stuff. But, when i get to the multiplayer menu, and i go to join game, theres no games to join. I mean WTH, and when i refresh the list, it says* "waiting for respons from master server" any help?

I have the same exact problem...I updated to 1.7, and absolutely no servers show up. I updated Punkbuster, uninstalled/reinstalled, the works. Does anyone else know wtf is going on?

Everyone is having this problem. Even in the other versions of Call of Duty. I play United Offensive (I'm still waiting to build my new gaming machine to play COD4), and I get the same waiting for master server error. I think one of activision's servers died. I guess we'll just have to deal with it for now.

a response from admin would be nice..... request update activision, whats going on?

Same here. And the single player was ridiculously short. I finished it about 3 hours of play. Not exactly in Half Life's league. What a waste of 50 bucks. And they wonder why people bootleg games.
