I've been searching for info on this topic for a while now over google and at individual forums and I can't find anything. Just about every time I start CoD4 multiplayer, I check my challenges and stats, and find that the last game I played didn't register. Yes I am playing to the end of the match, and I exit from the game lobby normally to the main menu before turning off the console. This only started very recently when I started playing with a two-man team, and it's been pretty consistent in dropping the last game we play before quitting each time.

Also, both of us commonly get a message when we leave game lobbys that we "must have an active network connection." I am unsure if this is related but it began at about the same time so maybe.

Any help would be greatly appreciated since I am refusing to play until I get this fixed. Thanks in advance.

Ah, I have this too, random disconnecting from XBOX Live, halfway though a match. I dunno why it doesn't save any kills, challenges, but it sure is annoying. Mine only seems to do that when it's been on for a while, so it's probaly overheating. Microsoft didn't put in a good enough cooling system, how stupid, they said they fixed the overheating but it's a lie!

no man not even over heating. I had my xbox on for almost 48 hours straight.
nothing happend. People just dont take care of their systems
they leave them in the heat (by a window etc)
They never dust them. Come on now open that sucker up and dust away!

anyways can you 2 tell me what type of connection you guys have.
