hey guys!

i recently got my new mbp and im wondering what are the best settings and resolution to choose for play cod4 with most fps possible to get out of THIS macbook : (running bootcamp WINDOWS XP - when for gaming purposes)

- macbok pro 2.6
- 17" 1920x1200 screen
- 4gb ram
- gt8600 512
- 7200rpm disc..

- what resolution are you guys using?
- whats with AA settings.. ?
- shadow, etc..

- what is the most FPS anyone managed to pull out of mbp

i ordered this mbp also to be able to play games, so i hope i didnt jump 2 quick with buying..

Im not sure about the first things, but COD4 is coming out for macs soon, i think sometime during the summer. also, you might want to try posting in the PC forums, as more people will see it.

ic. i know it will came out, but i managed yesterday with 1200x800 to get 65-100 fps.. AA off.. is this playable good enought to go to some serious multyplayer.. ?

Yes that is playable, cod4 was engineered to play very smooth with low frame rates. but if you start to get around 40 constant, i suggest you lower your res. to 800X600 for better frames, I also suggest you use a FPS config if you don't have one, i posted mine of the fourms if you would like to use it
