Right, so went on and bought the Variety Pack earlier. Downloaded it and installed and everything went fine. Went on to play it, but my PS3 had not done the required update - OK, fine, so I left it a bit. Came back on this evening and great, the PS3 is doing its update for the new Variety Pack changes.... Load PS3 up after the changes and go to find a game to see the new Variety options but they are disabled?? Ok, so I thought it might be because I downloaded the pack before the update. Went back on and redownloaded the Variety Pack. Installed the pack and went back on to CoD but to no avail... Variety game options are still disabled....

Anyone got any ideas as to how I can fix this ??

Does it say you dont have the pack installed when you highlight the variety option in find game?

Are you on the same user account you downloaded the pack with?

Nop. When I get invited into parties also says that I do not have the pack. I installed it under my user as well.

Wow, thats weird, sorry, cant help, maybe try contacting IW through their forums.

Maybe check on the ps3 website and forums to see if anyone else is having similar problems?

It could be something to do with the latest patch.. I think V1.30?

Have you installed any updates recently I know that the new maps don't work if you haven't installed the latest patch.. my friend has the same problem.

Another problem that has been highlighted is if you are using a foreign game from where you are? i.e. patches are d/l to regions if your game is foreign apparently this can cause a problem with the patches not matching up to the game..

Try the ps3 website/forums as I do know that loads of people are having the exact same problem as you sadly.

if anything try and see if you can do a system update if one is available install it asap? If not it def sounds like the COD4 patch?

Yeah....id have to know where ur from. Therer has been a lot of issues relating to urs from other people. Take this for example...... EU Variety Map Pack not compatible with EU (German) Retail Version (BLES00149)

Yes, the most probable issue is that you purchased the wrong version? You need to contact Sony and they will give you a refund so you can purchase the right one.
