ak with stopping power and silencer is vicious it has by far the best iron sights

I'm a fan of all the SMG's, minus the Skorpion.

MP5 is great because it doesn't need Bandoleer to be a dominant weapon, unlike the P90, because you can run M9 and get a 30-round bonus (same as the Mini-Uzi).

P90, well lets face it, it's the only SMG considered truely 'cheap' for a reason. It's not as powerful as the MP5 or AK74u at min. range, but as powerful far out, lower recoil, more accurate, 50-round mags, etc.. However it does waste bullets with teh fury.

AK74u is an awesome gun, unfortunately CoD4 still has a glitch where the Red Dot and Silencer screw up the hip fire accuracy (makes it equal to the AK47), so I generally run it naked. If IW fixed that problem, I would be willing to bet it would become the choice SMG.

Mini-Uzi is the ultimate run-n-gun tool, because of it's excellent hip fire accuracy and high headshot ratio. I run Mini-Uzi silenced w/ M9, bando, sleight of hand, steady aim; I get ~300 rounds, and I don't worry about how many bullets it takes, I just use the whole magazine 90% of the time.

The Skorpion is fun, but it's not a "good" gun.

Yeah thats all true. P90 is just to wild, and at sometimes uncontrolable. The MP5 is very versatile, and can take an enemy down quick with stopping power, or headshots.

The sights on the P90 are not good at all. But i guess its just personal preference and what the people like more. Its really no contest, just opinions will be posted here.

MP5 is best over all SMGs
P90 would be my second choice, mainly for the magazine. Though has slighty better accuracy from a distance
AK-47u 3rd choice. Great dmg, though too much kick. Horrible accuracy from a distance w/ iron sights
Uzi only because it's gold
Scorpion shouldn't even be in the game. I'm always amazed how I get taken down by one, but needless to say, it's junk.

It all comes down to your personal play style though. For me, if you watch my vids, MP5 is deadly accurate, reloads doesn't take as long as P90. And I get get 4 kills with a single clip of MP5. P90 would be 3 kills at best. AK is very much like the MP5, more powerful, less accurate. other two are bleh

i never use the m9 with the mp5. I always end up running out of ammo even with the m9, and then i have jack squat. i usually play hardcore, so there is no ammo count. and pistols are pretty good in hardcore, so i take the deagle over a few extra mp5 rounds...but to stay on topic, ya mp5 sd with stopping power/uav jammer and steady aim is the way to go

To each his own.

One thing I noticed, that makes me more a fan of the MP5 then the P90, is when I end up going barrel to barrel with someone with a P90, my MP5 kills them way faster. I also have alot more success with far out shots.

But the P90 owns the spray and pray market, probably more so w/o a silencer as it seems to end up downplaying it's low firepower even more.

That i am afraid is falacy,

I dont belive either of the 2 are the best,

The scorpion/UZI are the best two,
