what sniper rifle do u think is over rated for online?

Overated or underpowered? There has been some problems with the snipers since the game came out, IW announced that in the new patch the hit detection and scopes for sniper rifles will be fixed. The Dragonov is prob the weakest/overated in this game, but in real life its used by the Russian military and is a very good weapon, same design as used for the AK47...

i think the barret.
sure its damage is good.
but it would be so much better if its accuracy matched the damage.

saying the barret is overrated is an understatement. It's a sexy gun, but the amount of people that use it is annoying. In TDM all you hear is it's clank repeatedly, but when you look at the players kills they just dont match up...

If you are gonna snipe, be sure its one shot one kill, otherwise I'll find you.

I was very disappointed with the Dragunov 'cause in reality it fires a mahoosive round,
if it didn't kill you with one shot you would be eating hospital food via a tube for some time.
Very underated in the game... but then it is just a game (I tell myself that when i've just had my arse kicked up & down the field!).

r700 for the win the 50 cal looks good but just isnt... and i can snipe but you still cant do as good as the good old m16

After givin the Barrett another try, I sorta liked it! (*GASP*)
Its damn powerful and sounds awesome...
as for the accuracy, not great, but recoil is like
BLAAAAAAAAAAM MOTHER F*CKER

And it really should blow your arm off.
