My buddy who just got LIVE the same day as my 360 took a puke has been talking smack to me here at work for a 2 weeks now. My 360 is due back from repairs this friday. I am tired of him running his mouth. I told him I want to play 1 on 1 with him in a cage match.

I have searched and read many posts on this forum regarding this, but I guess I am thick headed. How can I make sure I play him? Do i need to start my own lobby, and wait for him to join? and in the mean time if other peeps join, just ask them to leave?

simple, clear directions for the mentally challenged please (yup - thats me)

Private Match. Or if you truely want to play him in a cage match. Find an empty lobby and invite your friend. Ask other people to leave.

its fine with me - but a private match means that headshots and what not will not count towards challenges - right?

correct,private matches dont count toward challenges. But if you do a private match you wont have to worry about anyone else joining the game while you are waiting for him. KICK HIS ASS!!

This post sounds like an ill attempt to find out how to boost without actually admitting that what you want to do. If he was just running his mouth and you wanted to destroy him, a private match is the way to go. So next time just ask us how you can take the shortcut as opposed to working for your acheivments. : )

no need for me to boost. I have almost all my challenges completed. I am looking for some 1 on 1 action with my friend - and him only. I can join ANY cage match with ANYONE and boost - since thats what the majority do.

So then why not just go to a private match and pwn him? Its not like your gonna rack up tons of exp doing cage matches.

because when reading the other posts - it appears its not that easy to do.
