I respect that youve been married 16 years, and from one who has been married I know that requires alot of ass kissing, nothing wrong with it, just the nature of the beast... But again if you married her than hopefully she was the one... I would disagree though, Ive been in relationships where all I wanted was to be around that girl and then there are those relationships where your like, ****, I need a break... So in disagreeing I would say there is nothing wrong with chosing being on a game over spending time with a female... To each his own... Sometimes you just need a effing break... <br>
But then again, maybe thats why Im divorced... LOL
There's nothing wrong with both of you doing your own thing every now and then. Being each other's shadows would drive anyone insane.
But that's not what the OP was talking about. He sounded like all he wants to do - ever - is play the game. She's complaining he ignores her.
Now, maybe she's just a neurotic, needy, clingy woman. If his playing 2 hours or so a day was what prompted her complaint, she probably is. But if 90% of their time together is spent by him playing CoD, and shutting her out, HE is the problem.
And yes, you NEVER opt for a game over your girl. Ever. It's simple relationship logic. If the game is more enticing, either your priorities are way out of whack, or she's so repulsive you would never have gone out with her to begin with.
Put it another way: How would you like it if whenever you wanted to <ahem> spend some time with her, she'd rather yak on the phone with her friends for hours non-stop, completely ignoring you?
I woudl cry tears of happiness and joy.
Although i agree, in that i'd never pick a game over a decent woman, i would love for my GF to shut up for ten f***ing minutes and let me think.
(She never stops talking).
Hence why i bought her the Nintendo DS. Sometimes i'll finish a 2 hour marathon of Call of Duty and she'll still be plugging away at online mario-karts, worms or whatever else.
Worst thing is she's a hell of alot better than me at most DS games.

"It's not my fault my kid doesn't know the difference between right and wrong, or fantasy and reality, it must be those darn video games I kept buying him in lieu of parenting."- Brian Clevinger
My fiance' is understanding about my gaming addiction, and I'm understanding of her reality TV addiction. I hang with my kids and with my lady, when they go to sleep its Darks play time. She usually just asks me what were doing and if we don't have any plans I can play lots on the weekend. So to answer the question, pick both. Keep the lady happy and make sure bedroom skill > gaming skills and you should be alright.
Dude, my gf is awesome, she plays video games, she wrecks my ratio, but she likes to play. haha
Lol my g/f hates every game I play other than COD4, which she likes to play sometimes. It's kinda cool, but then again it blows because she usually goes like 1-25 ktd lol. The other day I told her she couldn't play because I wanted to get 1.5 ratio and she got all pissed at me lol.
Sorry guys, girlfriend > video games. We actually play Social Slayer together sometimes on Halo, but she won't play Call of Duty because she claims she doesn't like war games lol.

I wish my girlfriend liked social slayer, or any video game for that matter. She thinks a walk in the park is much better than a hard core Team D match...:-(
